"Optimized HRP inhibition was performed when the membrane (38 cm2) placed in 1 ml of a 30% (w/v) H2O2 solution (i.e., 9.7 M or 110 volumes) on a piece of Parafilm-M at 37 °C for 15 min (Fig. 1B, right blot). When a stronger signal needed to be suppressed, incubation time could be extended to 30 min at 37 °C or to 24 h at 4 °C (data not shown)."
